playoff run

the canes lost to the sabres on sunday night. the chances are slim to make the playoffs but there is always a chance. with staal taking two stupid penalties against the sabres, it gave buffaloe a chance to get ahead early. the canes tied it and forced overtime, but with one minute to go the sabres scored of a tip from tim gleason. their hopes died right there

canes vs caps

the canes beat the washington capitals last night at the verizon center. it ended in a shootout with jeff skinner scoring one and tuomo rutu scoring the winner. they are still fighting but are 4 points behind bufaloe for the 8th place

Vaughn

Vaughn hockey just released the new vison series. it is a totaly different feel and might make vaughn lose some customers.  they look to much like the Bauer one100 pads to be good on their own.  vaughn had a steady way of making their gear but now it is lost

neck and neck

the carolina hurricanes are tied with the buffaloe sabres both with 75 points for the 8th place in the playoffs. the canes must win most of their games or the stanley cup is out of the question
